POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Run the coffee maker with water only by following the directions in the 'HOW
TO USE' section omitting the coffee and coffee filter. Empty the carafe and
allow the machine and the carafe to cool.
Wash the Carafe and Filter Basket in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly
and dry. Wipe the base of the unit with a soft damp cloth. NOTE: Do not
immerse base in water or any other liquid.
