The air conditioner
does not generate
warm air.
Note : Heating is not
available in all models.
It is not possible to
adjust the fan speed.
It is not possible to
adjust the tempera-
ture.
Possible causes
• Air is not circulating prop-
erly.
• The air filter is dirty.
• The room temperature is
too high.
• Cold air is escaping from
the room.
• The desired temperature
is higher than the set
temperature.
• There is a heating source
nearby.
• Air circulation operation is
selected.
• Outside temperature is
too high.
• When Heating Mode is
started, the vane is almost
closed and no air comes
out, even though the out-
door unit is operating.
• The outdoor unit is in
Defrosting Mode.
• Outside temperature is
too low.
• The Auto Operation,
Surge Operation, or
Dehumidification
Operation is selected.
• The Air Circulation
Operation or Surge
Operation is selected.
Corrective action
• Make sure that there are no curtains,
blinds, or pieces of furniture blocking the
front of the air conditioner.
• Clean the air filter once every 2 weeks.
• See "Cleaning Air Filter" for more infor-
mation.
• In the summer, it may take some time to
cool the indoor air fully. In this case,
select the Surge operation to cool indoor
air quickly.
• Make sure that no cold air is escaping
through ventilation points in the room.
• Set the desired temperature to a level
lower than the current temperature.
• Avoid using heat generators like electric
ovens or gas burners while the air condi-
tioner is in operation.
• In the air circulation operation, air blows
from the air conditioner without cooling
or heating the indoor air.
• Switch the operation mode to the cool-
ing operation.
• The cooling effect may not be sufficient.
• This symptom is normal. Please wait
until the unit has prepared enough warm
air to blow through the indoor unit.
• In heating mode, ice/frost is built up on
the coils when the outside temperature
fall down. This function removes a layer
of frost on the coil, and should be com-
plete in approximately 15 minutes.
• The heating effect may not be sufficient.
• In some operation modes you cannot
adjust the fan speed. Select an operation
mode in which you can adjust the fan
speed.
• In some operation modes you cannot
adjust the temperature. Select an opera-
tion mode in which you can adjust the
temperature.
