Installation
Fig. 1÷15
Horizontal installation: 3÷7
Vertical installation: 8÷12
Note (fig. 13-14): The five grooves on the side of the device allow the lamp to be directed in five different
positions, depending on the specific installation requirements.
Note: When designing for use of more than one UVLOGIKA SYSTEM lamp in the same premises, consider
an optimal distance between one lamp and the next, as indicated in the following table:
Altezza
installazione
1 m
2 m
3 m
These configurations allow not to overlpa the effects of radiation of each lamp and to achieve an
uniform coverage of the premise.
Use
Use the switch connected during installation to switch the UVLOGIKA SYSTEM device on or off.
• WARNING: when designing the system, it is mandatory to provide at
least two automatic protection devices in series to prevent any risk of
accidental exposure to UV-C rays (i.e. presence detectors, timers, door
locks, lit signals; see connection diagram: Figure C).
If the optional accessories PIR SYSTEM (13049) and C PIR (12998) are connected, the device switches off as
soon as a person is detected in the room. After a pre-set period of time, the device switches on again if no person
is detected in the room. Please refer to the accessory instruction manuals for installation instructions and timer
adjustment.
Maintenance and cleaning
For maintenance or lamp replacement, contact an authorised VORTICE T echnical Service Centre.
The product does not require special cleaning. Remove dust from the lamp with a clean cloth or compressed air

Electrical connections
To connect the device to the mains with PIR SYSTEM (13049) and C PIR (12998) or equivalent devices (figure
C).
