1.2 General warnings.
The system must comply with the relevant local and/or national regulations. You must therefore
have the BaseTherm installed by a professionally qualified installer in accordance with all applicable
national and international legislation and regulations. Faulty installation, adjustment, alteration,
maintenance activity or repair shall render the warranty void.
1.3 Application.
The BaseTherm is a room thermostat with an internal room sensor that can be used to control a
bus system for 1 or multiple air heaters up to a maximum of 8 units. The BaseTherm is capable of
controlling heating or ventilation and reporting and resetting faults when they occur.
1.4 Reference to a table or an image.
If reference is made in the manual to an image or table, a number between square brackets is
used, e.g. [3].
The number refers to images and tables at the back of the manual with the stated number.
