Cleaning

The moveable parts of this unit are hermetically sealed. The fan motor bearings are pro-
vided with lifetime lubrication and are therefore maintenance-free.
Wipe the housing with a damp cloth without using a cleaning agent
Raise the air filter at its lower edge on the back of the unit and draw out. Release the filter
mat from the filter frame (remove holder) and wash out in warm water. Lay it out flat to dry
then replace in the filter frame (fasten with holder). Insert filter in the unit and push down.
Clean activated carbon filter – if used – with vacuum cleaner (do not use water).
Wipe down the coil with a damp cloth without using a cleaning agent
If the inside of the machine becomes particularly dirty, use compressed air or vacuum cle-
aner to clean it

Troubleshooting

Please check the following points before taking the machine to a specialist dealer.
Machine does not start
Is the mains plug correctly inserted?
Is the fuse in your fusebox OK?
Is the mains cable or extension cable (if used) OK?
Is the water tank empty?
Is the water tank positioned correctly?
Check hygrostat controller (not at position «0»)
Machine is running constantly
Check hygrostat controller. Is it set to «MAX»? If yes, choose a lower setting.
Are the doors and windows closed?
Is the machine powerful enough for the size of room (see section on Installation)?
