Operation modes of the EDF1R
An electronic wall control timer that is compatible with all Fantech HRV/ERV models (except SH/VH
704). This control activates the system on 3 possible modes of operation:
• LOW (GREEn LIGht) Continuous low speed ventilation
• 20 MInutEs On, 40 MInutEs OFF (YELLOW LIGht): Intermittent operation cycle on low speed
ventilation for 20 minutes then places the ventilation system on standby for 40 minutes.
• RECIRCuLatIOn (RED LIGht): The ventilation system recirculates indoor air from the return grilles
to the supply grills. No outdoor air ventilation is provided.
Modes de fonctionnement du EDF1R
Un dispositif de commande mural à trois fonctions qui est compatible avec tous les modèles de VRC de
Fantech (sauf SH/VH 704). Cette commande active le système à trois modes de fonctionnement
possible.
• LOW (LuMIèRE vERtE): Ventilation continue à basse vitesse.
• 20MIn On/40MIn OFF (LuMIèRE jaunE): Cycle de fonctionnement intermittent de la ventilation à
basse vitesse pendant 20 minutes, puis place le système de ventilation en mode d'attente pendant
40 minutes.
• RECIRCuLatIOn (LuMIèRE ROuGE): Le système de ventilation recircule l'air intérieur des grilles de
retour aux grilles d'alimentation. Pas de ventilation de l'air extérieur est fourni.
Wiring of the EDF1R
Connect the wires to the EDF1R wall control. Insert the stripped end of the wires into the electrical connection. Insert the wire into the + and – of the EDF terminal connections
or the "W" position of the terminal connection bloc located on the HRV/ERV system, near the power cord. Tighten screws using slot head screwdriver.

Insérez les fils au contrôle mural EDF1R. Insérez les bouts rayés des fils dans les connecteurs électriques. Insérez les fils dans le + et – des connecteurs du terminal ou
des les position "W" des connecteurs du terminal situés sur le VRH/VRE, à proximité du cordon d'alimentation. Serrez les vis à l'aide d'un stylo-tournevis.
