For a beautiful flame and for safe operation,
we recommend WMF Premium Bio-Ethanol,
item no. 60 8585 9990.

Closing the tank
To close, place the cap on so that both arrows are facing
each other. Turn the cap clockwise until it stops.

Inserting the glass panes
Before you use your Twistfire for the first time, insert
two of the three panes in the mounts provided on the
interior of the base body.
For every additional use, it suffices if you remove one
of the three panes for filling and ignition. Never close /
modify the slits between the glass panes.

Ignition
You should wait 2-3 minutes after each filling until the
fibre metal plates are soaked. Then you can ignite your
Twistfire. Use a stick lighter to do so. With the patented
fibre metal plates, the Safe Flame Technology, patented
in Germany, guarantees a safe and secure lighting of
the fire. They do not burn up and do not need to be
replaced.
Once your fireplace is burning, you can use the third
glass pane. As the flame height only gradually develops,
there is no risk here.

Depending on the climatic conditions (especially
humidity), it may be possible that the flame starts to
spin in a circle before beginning to rotate in the centre.
This is not a defect of the product.
The maximum flame height will be achieved after
approximately 5-10 minutes.
During operation
The glass panes may heat up to 120°C. During operation
and immediately thereafter you should not touch the
glass panes or the stainless steel body.
Let your Twistfire cool down for about 15-20 minutes
after operation before you re-fill the tank or re-ignite
your fire light.
The appliance is not suitable for long-term use.
Do not pour water over the panes during operation or
immediately afterwards. This may cause stress cracks or
shattering.
Do not leave your Twistfire in the rain while burning or
immediately following use.

Extinguishing
To extinguish the ethanol flame, you should
generally only use the provided extinguishing hood.
Allow sufficient time for cooling.
Fully empty the tank before any prolonged storage
times.
Examine your Twistfire before and after every use for
leaks in the tank or other damages or changes.
