as cold sores in the area to be treated. Wait for the affected area to heal before
using Freequent™.
• If you have an impaired immune system due to immunosuppressive diseases
such as AIDS and HIV, or use of immunosuppressive medications.
• If you have had surgery in the areas to be treated.
• If you have diabetes, or other systemic or metabolic diseases or congestive
heart disease.
• If you have any other condition which in your physician's opinion would make it
unsafe for you to be treated.
• If you have epilepsy.
• If you are under going cancer therapy.
• If you have received radiation therapy or chemotherapy treatments within the
past 3 months.
• If the treatment head has cracks.
• If you have permanent fillers within the treatment area.
• If you have temporary dermal fillers within treatment area, please consult your
physician before using Freequent™.
• Current use of medications, herbal preparation, vitamins or food supplements
that may cause fragile or dry skin.
• Any surgical procedure, laser resurfacing or deep chemical peeling within the
treatment area in past 3 months or still undergoing a process of complete
healing.

5. Preparing for use
5.1 Charging
• Fully charge the batteries before you use Freequent™ for the first time and
when the batteries are empty. Fully charging the batteries takes up to 2 hr.

• Low battery alert: Charge Freequent™ when the light indicators are blinking.
This indicates the battery is low on power.
Remarks: Due to slightly higher power consumption of the cooling feature of the device, a
blinking blue light signal will indicate there is still sufficient power to use the RF function.
Once a blinking green light appear, please recharge your device.
• Fully charge the appliance every 3 to 4 months, even if you do not use
Freequent™ for a long time.
Directions for charging the Freequent™:
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Insert the small plug from the adaptor into the back of the charger base and
put the adaptor in the wall socket. (See Fig. 6)
