activated. Possible causes: the door may not
be closed properly or the door microswitch
may be damaged owing to handle misuse.

door damage.
7) Alarm E7: Door alarm
Door damage is detected during operation:
the wash cycle is immediately aborted and
the tub is drained. Normal operation may be
resumed only by switching the machine off
and then on again. The buzzer is actuated.

level error.
8) Alarm E8: Level alarm
A water level 10 cm above the established
height is detected: the cycle is aborted and
the buzzer is actuated. To remove this alarm,
just switch the machine off and then on
again. The cause of this alarm is surely the
level probe. ATTENTION, this fault can
also be caused by the use of foamy soap.
E9

Unbalance.
9) Tilt alarm E9
When this alarm status occurs, the step in
progress is aborted but the cycle is not
cancelled. The motor is disenergised for 200
or 90 seconds for high-speed spin and low-
speed spin respectively. Then a distribution
step intervenes for 90 seconds in order for
the laundry to be spread correctly.
Alarms occurring during intermediate spin
are not displayed: after distribution, the cycle
skips the spinning step and proceeds.
Conversely, alarms intervening during final
spin blink E9: after distribution, the machine
makes further spinning attempts, up to a
maximum of 15 and if it still fails to spin, the
alarm sign E9 is lit continuously, the buzzer
is actuated and the cycle is aborted. To
remove this alarm it will be necessary to
switch the machine off and then on again.
Alarm causes may be an incorrect laundry
load (too little or too big), unlevel machine
positioning or dampers worn out through
repeated incorrect loads.

motor overload.
10) Motor overload cutout E0
In case of motor fault, i.e. overheating,
misconnection, etc., the motor is put to neutral
and the message E0 is lit on the display and
the buzzer is actuated. This alarm causes the
cycle to be aborted. To remove it, just switch
the machine off and then on again.
Measures to be taken in case of a
voltage drop
If a voltage drop longer than 3 sec. occurs
during a wash cycle, on being re-energised
the display will read "POWER FAIL" with
the general danger sign and an hourglass
blinking for one minute: all functions will
be disabled. As soon as normal work
conditions are restored the cycle will be
resumed from the step that was underway
when the voltage drop occurred and the
display unit will resume its normal functions.
Conversely, if the door is open when the
machine is re-energised, the cycle will be
aborted.
ATTENTION If the ON - OFF switch is
actuated to turn machine off after the
cycle has been started, the machine will
:
behave as if a voltage drop had occurred.

7.8 INFORMATION ABOUT SPECIAL
:
MEASURES FOR USE AND
PROTECTION
When carrying out the first cycle, verify the
following:
- Soap dispenser trays must stay clean:
tray A after taking in pre-wash water;
tray B after taking in wash water;
tray C after taking in water for the last
rinse.
- Remove all soap made solid during machine
lay up.
- Perform a 90
manufacturing residues.
- The operator must be able to check soap
compartments at ease. Place a platform if
necessary.
- Make certain that laundry trolleys are lower
than the door bottom edge.
- If need be, mount appropriate bumpers to
prevent trolleys from hitting and damaging
the door.
- Never open soap compartments when
the machine is taking in water or is heating.
7.9 ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
(to be carried out by the user)
BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE OR
:
CLEANING OPERATIONS, CHECK
THAT THE WALL CUTOFF SWITCH
IS OFF AND THE HOT WATER, COLD
WATER AND STEAM TAPS ARE
CLOSED (THE LATTER APPLIES TO
STEAM-HEATED MACHINES ONLY).
THE DRUM MUST BE STILL AND
DRAINED AND THE TEMPERATURE
INSIDE MUST NOT EXCEED 40

The machine requires no special
maintenance, thanks to its ergonomic design
and to the use of very reliable, first-quality
parts.
Regularly clean the external panels with a
damp cloth. Never use inflammable or
abrasive products and rub in the satin-finish
direction.
Remarks concerning the control panel
and graphic display
- Do not clean the LCD display surface and
the keypad using acetone, alcohol or other
chemicals. Avoid also using oil and grease.
- Do not bring the glass into contact with
polish or resin containing solvents; some of
these may spoil the film waterproofing the
glass. This could entail electrode damage
when the work environment conditions
feature high humidity and condensation.
- The glass is subject to scratching, cutting
and breaking damage. Handle and clean it
with the utmost care, using a soft and dry
cloth.
Warning! Do not exercise pressure on the
glass when cleaning it.
- During use, steam building up on the glass
may cause irreversible damage to the display.
Even when not in use, any drops must be
wiped off immediately.
- If body parts should come in contact with
the liquid leaking out from a damaged display
unit, cleanse with water and soap. In case of
accidental ingestion, see a doctor. Though
product toxicity is very moderate, extreme
care must be exercised when handling it.
- Like any electronic component, the display
unit is sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
Resort to ordinary use and handling
measures.
NEVER WASH THE APPLIANCE
USING WATER JETS.
BEFORE TURNING THE MACHINE
ON BY THE CUTOFF SWITCH ON
THE WALL, PUT ALL THE PANELS
REMOVED BACK IN PLACE.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR
MAINTENANCE AND
REPAIR PERSONNEL
8. SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
AND ORDERING SPARE PARTS
8.1 REMOVE THE LID
To reach the machine electrical parts, take
off the screws fastening the lid to the back
panel and the soap dispenser. Then lift the
rear part of the lid and push it to the front by
approximately 5 cm.
Caution!
Models 50 and 60Kg do not require
disassembling any dispenser part. In this
case loosen only the screws securing the two
cover halves.
