DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAMMABLE
FUNCTIONS
Machine parameters are those required to
effect marginal changes to the wash programs
without having to access cycle or step
programming.
These functions enable the user to skip
existing actions or add new ones in a wash
cycle. This does not alter the program features
in a radical manner, though.
The "MACHINE PARAMETERS" menu
is accessed as follows:
Open the washer door: all programming
actions must be performed with the door
open. The programing environment cannot
be accessed when the door is closed.
Hold down the "
MODE" key until the
"MACHINE PAR." reading appears. Press
"ENTER" to confirm.
The display will then read the following
items:
COOL
SPIN
PREWASH
DELAY START
BUZZER
HEATING
ENABLE
The various items are described below.
These functions affect only the currently
selected wash cycle and remain effective
until they are disabled.
Cooling
Cool: This function decides whether the
wash bath is to be cooled right before it is
drained off. As a rule, cooling is aimed to
prevent the garments from undergoing a
thermal shock as they go, for example, from
a 90°C wash step to ambient temperature
rinsing.
Select "COOL" using the "UP" and
"DOWN" keys.
Press "ENTER" to confirm.
Programs/cycles and their respective cooling
setting can be scrolled using the "UP" and
"DOWN" keys. Move to the desired cycle
and press "ENTER". Then choose between
"YES" and "NO" using the "UP" and
"DOWN" keys and press "ENTER" to
confirm.
Press "MODE" to exit.
Short spinning
Spin: This function allows to acknowledge
the standard-selected spinning, reduce it to
one-minute spinning or eliminate it
altogether. Select "SPIN" using the "UP"
and "DOWN" keys.
Press "ENTER" to confirm.
Programs/cycles and their respective reduced
spinning setting (enabled/disabled) can be
scrolled using the "UP" and "DOWN" keys.
20
Move to the desired cycle and press
"ENTER". Then again using the "UP" and
"DOWN" keys choose among:
NORMAL
REDUCED
NO SPINNING
Press "ENTER" to confirm.
Normal: standard final spinning is carried
out
Reduced: one-minute final spinning.
Spinning length is applied to the last spinning
speed. The acceleration ramp is never
reduced.
No spinning: final spinning is not carried
out.
Press "MODE" to exit.
No prewashing
Prewash: Generally speaking, all programs
include prewash. The purpose of this function
is actually to skip prewash, and is especially
useful when handling laundry that is not
heavily soiled.
Select "PREWASH" using the "UP" and
"DOWN" keys.
Press "ENTER" to confirm.
Programs/cycles and their respective
prewash setting can be scrolled using the
"UP" and "DOWN" keys. Move to the
desired cycle and press "ENTER". Then
choose between "YES" and "NO" using the
"UP" and "DOWN" keys and press
"ENTER" to confirm.
Press "MODE" to exit.
Deferred cycle start
Delay START:
This function defers
machine start to a maximum of 24 hours. As
soon as the scheduled time has elapsed the
machine starts automatically. When waiting
for the deferred start the machine reads the
countdown. If during the countdown the
"START" key is pressed, the machine
immediately starts the cycle that was
originally selected.
Select "DELAY START" using the "UP"

"DOWN" keys.
Press "ENTER" to confirm.
