5
Unthread the nut (No. 12 figure-1). Extract the upper
hydraulic packing gland body assembly (No. 17 figure-
1).
6
Extract the packing gland (No. 16 figure-1) from the
hydraulic body (No 17 figure-1).
Extract the packing gland (No. 18 figure-1).
7
Place the new packing gland, with the "V" pointing
8
downwards and place grease between the gaskets.
ATTENTION
Grease the exterior of the gaskets and the
hydraulic body housing to facilitate their assembly
and avoid wear.
9
Place the packing gland (No. 16 figure-1) and hand
tighten until it stops.
10
Place the upper hydraulic cylinder (No. 17 figure-1)
turning this correctly. Place the washers (No. 13 figure-
1) and fastening nuts (No. 12 figure-1).
ATTENTION
Previously grease the lower end of the pneumatic
spindle (No. 8 figure-1) so as not to damage the
gaskets during assembly.
11
Place the locking gasket (No. 19 figure-1).
Place the new piston valve (No. 22 figure-1), turning
12
the lip upwards.
13
Place the hydraulic cylinder (No. 23 figure-1),
previously greasing the inlet cone and the outer part
of the piston seal to facilitate assembly.
ATTENTION
Control the status of the inner surface
of the cylinder to determine whether it is
necessary to clean or replace.
14
Place the suction probe or pump on its support.
Tighten the packing gland while the pump drains
(without pressure).
Replacing the air distributor and pneumatic bushing.
1
Depressurise the pump following the decompression
procedure.
Disassemble the suction hose if any, or the pump
2
from its support.
3
Unscrew the upper plug (No. 1 figure-1) from the
pneumatic cylinder.
4
Disassemble the pneumatic cylinder (No. 4 figure-1).
5
Disassemble the pneumatic distributor (No. 5 figure-
1). If necessary, hold the spindle (No. 8 figure-1) by
means of the packing gland rods in the air exhaust
holes of the pneumatic spindle itself.
6
Place the new pneumatic distributor (No. 5 figure-1).
If necessary, hold the spindle in the way described in
the above section.
ATTENTION
Grease the pneumatic distributor correctly to
facilitate the assembly of the pneumatic cylinder
and for its lubrication during dry running.
7
Place the pneumatic cylinder (No. 4 figure-1)
previously greasing the cone on the end to facilitate
the assembly via the pneumatic distributor).
ATTENTION
Control the status of the inner surface
of the cylinder to determine whether it is
necessary to clean or replace.
8
Place the upper plug (No. 1 figure-1) of the pneumatic
cylinder.
