IMPORTANT REMARKS

1. Point the remote to the receiver on the front panel of the device. The receiving angle is about
+/- 30 degrees in the range of 5 meters.
2. Keep the remote away from excessive moisture; do not drop it.
3. Do not operate the remote under intense sunlight
4. Change the battery when it is weak of empty
The remote is using a CR2025 type battery.
Please pull out the insulated film in the bottom of the remove when using the remote for the
first time.

8.1 Basic Operation

• Plug the power adapter into a working electrical outlet and connect the other end of the
adapter to the device. The power LED starts blinking, and the device is entering standby
mode (power led is RED)
• Switch the device on (this is done by pressing the standby button
left upper side of the remote control). The power LED starts twinkling and the LED will turn
GREEN.
• The Hard Disk Partition list is shown on the screen. If there is only one partition the MEDIA
Main Menu is shown on the screen instead of the Partition list
Notice: usually there is no need to change the TV system (PAL or NTSC) but if your TV only
supports NTSC or only PAL you should use the P/N button on your remote control to select the
correct colour system to match your TV.
If you have turned on 'AUTO Start Mode' (Press Setup
Start
On).
All your files will be played automatically from the Hard disk. Pressing the stop button
stop it and will show the file list without directory structure.

The Enter button will show you the Media Library and when entering a file folder it is starting
to play files.
• Press the Menu button to show the HDD Partition list or Media Main Menu (if you only have
one partition)
to move the cursor and use the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
