To prevent the formation of bacteria or deposits, and to increase the lifespan of the humidifier
and its components (ceramic filter etc), remove any limescale deposits that may form (more
frequently if the water is hard) or other impurities.
Ceramic filter (perform monthly)
1. Remove the lid of the receptacle, unscrew the ferrule (5) from the filter (7) in an
anticlockwise direction.
2. Place the filter in a container with white vinegar (8 degrees) or a descaling agent for 10
minutes.
3. Rinse the filter carefully under running water, and after allowing it to drip dry, screw it back
onto the receptacle.
Receptacle (perform weekly)
b)
Fill the receptacle with water and add 10/15 drops of white vinegar (8 degrees) or
descaling agents. After 10 minutes, pour it out, rinse and dry the outside.
Main unit (perform weekly)
1. Clean the inside of the tray with a soft cloth that has been moistened slightly with water and
vinegar, then dry. Avoid using abrasive products that may scratch the surface. Do not wash
under running water, do not immerse in water, do not wash in a dishwasher. Before using it
again, ensure that it is completely dry.
2. By not adhering to the maintenance and cleaning instructions, microorganisms could form in
the water. The following cleaning instructions, therefore, should be carried out regularly in
order to guarantee that the appliance will work correctly and efficiently.
• Do not immerse the appliance, its plug or electrical cable in water or other liquids.
• Periodically check the steam output orifice is not obstructed.
• To clean the body use a soft damp cloth; do not use abrasive products.
• A special tool is required to replace the electrical cord: contact an authorized service center, also
for any repairs.
• If you decide not to use the appliance any more, we recommend making it inoperative by
cutting the power cord (after making sure you have disconnected the plug from the socket) and
make dangerous parts harmless if children are allowed to play with them.
