• The air outlet will become very hot while the heater is in operation, danger of being
burnt!
• Never pour any liquids on or next to the product. It can cause fi re or perilous
electric shock danger. If liquids get into the device, immediately isolate the mains
socket (fuse/circuit breaker/earth leakage circuit breaker), then separate the mains
plug from the mains socket and consult an expert. Do not operate the device any-
more.
• Only move, transport or store the product when it has cooled down completely.
First disconnect from the mains voltage, pull the plug out of the power socket.
• Only use the appliance in a moderate climate, never in a tropical climate.
• The use of this product is not recommended for persons with reduced responsive-
ness or persons with physical/mental restrictions.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please contact our
technical service or another specialist.

Operation
Refer to the chapter "Safety instructions" and all other information in this manual!
• Move the rotary knob (1) to the position "0" (switched off).
• Turn the thermostat knob all the way to the left (counter-clockwise).
• Install the heater on a suitable horizontal, level, stable surface. Always leave suffi cient space
(at least 1.5 m) from combustible or fl ammable materials or objects (curtains, doors, furniture
etc.).
• Plug the mains plug of the heater into a grounded-contact socket.
Choose operating mode
Use the rotating knob (1) to choose the desired function.

The control light (3) turns on when the heater is switched on (ventilation or heating
function).
Selecting the temperature
If the heating function is activated (750 or 1500 W) with the rotating knob (1), you can use
the thermostat rotating knob (2) to set the temperature at which the heater will switch off. If
the temperature drops by several degrees, the heater will be switched on again automatically.
Safety switch
The safety switch (5) at the bottom of the heater will automatically switch the heater off if the
device is lifted off the fl oor or when it tips/falls over.
Storage
If you do not use the heater for an extended period of time, switch it off (switch position "0") and
pull the mains plug from the mains socket.
Let the heater cool off completely and subsequently store it in a clean, dry location.
Maintenance and Cleaning
• Only a professional repair shop should attempt to maintain or repair the device. The product
contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, do not open/dismantle it.
• The heater must be switched off before cleaning. Furthermore, disconnect the mains plug
from the mains socket. Next, let the heater cool down completely!
• To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is suffi cient.
• Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft and long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since
these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
