Operation
Preparation
1.
Place the heater on a suitable surface. It should be a large surface which is fixed, level and
stable. It should be 0.5 m away from any wall or object. It should be at least 1.5 m away from
any flammable items (eg. curtains). It is intended to be placed on the floor and not wall-mounted.
Ensure that the heater is placed flat and solidly on its base.
2.
With the thermostat control (1), turn to < — >. With the mode selector (2), turn to < OFF >.
3.
Insert the power socket into the mains outlet.
Selecting the Mode
To select the mode, use the mode selector (2).
OFF
To turn the heater off
FAN
To turn on the fan for cooling or ventilation
I
To turn the heater to the lower heat output (750 W)
II
To turn the heater to the full heat output (1500 W)
Adjustment of the Temperature
The thermostat control (1) allows for gradual adjustment of temperature. Choose the desired
strength from the minimum < — > to the maximum < + >. Once the set temperature is reached the
integrated thermostat automatically switches off the fan.
Control light
The control light (3) is lit up when the fan heater's fan has been activated.
Oscillation
This function allows for stable and even heating or ventilation.
To activate or deactivate the oscillation function, press the Oscillation button (5).
Anti-Tilt protection
The anti-tilt protection switch (4) at the bottom of the heater disconnects the power from the heater
when it is lifted off the floor. This ensures protection if the heater is tipped over or when it is being
moved.
If the heater is heating / cooling when it is tipped over, the control light (3) will switch off.
If the heater tips over, switch it off and replace it correctly before switching it back on.
Overheat protection
This heater features an overheat protection that switches off the appliance automatically in the
case of overheating (for example, due to total or partial obstruction of the its air outlet openings). In
this case, following the procedures below:
1.
Unplug the heater.
2.
Wait about 30 minutes for it to cool down.
Remove the obstructing objects.
3.
Switch on the heater as described above.
If the problem persists, please contact our Technical Advisory Service or other experts.
6.

Cleaning and Care

1.
Before cleaning the heater, ensure that it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled
down completely.
2.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the heater with water. Do not immerse it in the
water.
3.
The housing may be wiped with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
4.
If necessary, dust particles accumulated in the air outlet openings may be removed with a
vacuum cleaner.
7.
