PREPARATION

• The safe on delivery comes with no registered fingerprints
• The safe is not loaded with batteries, you may insert the emergency key into the Emergency
Cover to open the door
• Uncover the battery compartment cover at the back of door. And put in 4XAA batteries. Please
pay attention to the polarity of the batteries. For normal use, the batteries could last for one
year

POWER SUPPLY

• Pull the door open
• Snap the battery compartment cover
• Replace 4 fresh batteries by lining them up in a manner as indicates by the „+" and „-" signs
CAUTION: While choosing battery, suggest to use high-powered alkaline battery with high quali-
ty. Please do not use any inferior, counterfeit or carbon-zinc batteries.
FINGERPINT REGISTRATION
• Press the red reset button located inside the safe, then release it. There will be audible be-
eps with the green light flashing. You will need to record your finger 3 separate times for it to
record.
• Place your finger on the scanner until there is audible beep with the green light flashing. Lift
your finger off the scanner.
• Place the same finger on the scanner for a second time, holding the finger in the same position
until there is audible beep with the green light flashing. Lift your finger off the scanner.
• Place the same finger on the scanner for a third time, holding the finger in the same position
until there are audible beeps with the green light flashing. Lift your finger off the scanner and
your fingerprint is now recorded.
• If the red light flashes 5 times with audible beeps, your fingerprint did not get recorded and
you will have to start over.
UNLOCK THE SAFE
• Place a recorded finger on the scanner.
• If the green light turns on for 5 seconds with audible beeps, the scan has been accepted and
you have to turn the knob clockwise to open the safe in 5 seconds.
Or you have to start over.
• If the red light flashes 3 times with audible beeps, the scanner did not read your fingerprint
and you must try again.
NOTE: If 3 invalid fingerprint attempts are made in succession, the red light will flash 5 times with
audible beeps. And you will have an automatic lockout for 60 seconds before you can try a scan
again.
