1. General instructions
Anyone involved with the assembly, operation, maintenance or repair of the product should read and be aware
of the contents of the instruction manual.
National standards and safety regulations must be observed.
2. Use and intended purpose
The eye shower is used for washing specifically the face and in particular the eyes.
3. Technical details
The eye and face shower fixes to the floor, it has two spray heads and a stainless steel or plastic basin. The
spray heads have a self-regulating water flow, a filter and an integrated protective cap.
4. Assembly
Connecting up
•
For assembly, see section 7
•
Connect the inlet opening to a ½" NPT water supply connection
•
Connect the outlet opening to a 1 ¼" NPT outlet connection
1.
Drill 3 x 10 mm dia. holes in the floor and use them to fasten the floor flange in position.
2.
Screw the shorter tube to the flange.
3.
Screw the tee to the shorter tube.
4.
Screw the longer tube to the tee.
5.
Assembly the wash-basin as shown in the drawing.
6.
Fit the wash-basin to the tube.
7.
Connect the tee to a ½" NPT water supply connection.
5. Operation

Fold up plastic caps of the spray heads.
•
The eye and face shower is operated via the bow-shaped handle. To do this push the bow-shaped
handle backwards The bow-shaped handle remains in this position
•
To turn off the shower the bow-shaped handle must be pushed to the front again.
Hazard sources
•
The spray heads must be covered with the protective caps when not in use to prevent fouling of the spray
heads.

Full body and eye showers serve a main purpose in the range of first aid.
Burns, scalds or chemical burn are injuries, whereupon immediate action is neccecary to minimise damage. To
reduce impairment, this injuries should be treated with cold water as soon as possible.
7.Maintenance and servicing
The eye shower should be operated at least monthly to check it is functioning. On the one hand this checks the
operation and on the other this prevents the water still present in the shower being contaminated with germs or
discoloured.
