Inserting/Removing
1 Slide the latch (A) and open the cover.
2 < Removing >
① Press the release handle (B).
The release handle pops out.
② Pull the release handle (B) to draw
out the battery pack partway, and
hold the battery pack on its both sides
to remove.
< Inserting >
①Carefully insert the battery pack into the
multimedia pocket by pushing both
corners until it surely fits in the slot.
・Press the release handle (C) to set in.
3 Close the cover until it clicks.

②Ziehen Sie am Entriegelungsgriff (B),
u m d a s A k k u p a c k t e i l w e i s e
herauszuziehen, und halten Sie das
Akkupack beim Herausnehmen an
beiden Seiten.
< Einsetzen >
①Legen Sie das Akkupack vorsichtig
in das Multimediafach ein, indem Sie
an beiden Ecken drucken, bis es
sicher im Fach sitzt.

Entriegelungsgriff (C), um es
einzustecken.
3 Schliesen Sie die Abdeckung, bis sie
mit einem Klick einrastet.
Insertion/retrait
1 Faites glisser le loquet (A) et ouvrer
le couvercle.
2 < Retrait >
① Appuyez sur la poigée de libération
(B).
La poignée de libération surgit.
② Tirez sur la poignée de libération
(B) pour faire sortir la batterie
partiellement, et saisissez la batterie
par les deux côtés pour la retirer.
< Insertion >
①Insérez doucement la batterie dans le
Multimedia Pocket, en poussant par
les deux coins jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit
insérée à fond dans la fente.
・Appuyez sur la poignée de
libération (C) pour installer.
3 Fermez le couvercle jusqu'à ce qu'il
émette un léger bruit sec.

The battery pack is designed for supplying power to the Panasonic
computer series. Before using the battery pack, read this Operat-
ing Instructions and the relevant portions of the computer's Op-
erating Instructions and Reference Manual carefully.
The battery pack is not charged when it is first purchased. Be sure
to charge it before using it for the first time.
Precautions
Care should be exercised with regard to the following in order to
avoid the possibility of overheating, fire, or damage.
Be Absolutely Sure to Use the Battery Pack With the Speci-
fied Product.

If it is used with a product other than the one for which it was
designed, electrolyte leakage, generation of heat, ignition or rup-
ture may result.
For information about the products for which battery pack can

be used, refer to the Operating Instructions of your product or
various sources.
Do Not Charge the Battery Using Methods Other Than Those
Specified
If the battery is not charged using one of the specified methods
electrolyte leakage, generation of heat, ignition or rupture may
result.

Refer to the manual of your product or battery charger.
Do Not Throw the Battery Pack Into a Fire or Expose It to
Excessive Heat.
Generation of heat, ignition or rupture may result.
Avoid Extreme Heat (Near the Fire, In Direct Sunlight, for
Example)
Electrolyte leakage, generation of heat, ignition or rupture may
result.
Do Not Insert Sharp Objects Into the Battery Pack, Expose
It to Bumps or Shocks, Disassemble, or Modify It.

Do Not Short the Pins of the Connector with Metal Objects.
Generation of heat, ignition or rupture may result. Do not place
the battery pack together with articles such as necklaces or hair-
pins when carrying or storing.
