• By adjusting the iron steam knob (B) it is possible to alter
the quantity of steam as a function of the type of fabric
to iron (more or less delicate).
• By turning the control knob in an anti-clockwise direction
the jet of steam increases. To reduce it, turn the control
knob in a clockwise direction (fig. 8).
• The same operating principle is also applicable to the
stain remover gun steam adjustment knob (C). The quan-
tity of steam jet must be adjusted as a function of the fab-
ric from which to remove the stain.
Before using the stain remover gun, it is advisable to carefully read these instructions which
allow a correct classification of stains and supply accurate advice on the most appropri-
ate way of operating.
Stains are produced from substances of various origins and according to the base of the
predominant substance they can be classified as having the following origin:
• ANIMAL (protein base):
soup and meat sauce, milk and cream, blood, sweat, egg, urine, vomit.
• VEGETABLE (tannin base):
beer, coffee, chocolate, Coca-Cola, fruit, wine, tea.
• VARIOUS (specific stains):
paint, lip-stick, biro, tar, rust, perfume.
Identifying the stain means understanding its origin and age. This allows you to avoid use-
less attempts which often, as well as not producing an optimal result, can also be dam-
aging.
To better identify the origins of the staining substance you can help yourself by using your
senses. The shape, touch, colour and location are very important in fact.
