Attaching the collection
bag
Clip the two collection bag fixing points
(6) onto the two positions provided on the
right and left of the machine housing.
Operation
Initial start-up
The hopper must be empty.
• Suspend the collection bag (3) from
the two collection bag fixing points (6)
on the right and left of the machine
housing.
Switching on and off
Make sure that the mains voltage
matches the details on the type plate.
1. Make a loop out of the end of the ex-
tension cable and suspend this in the
cable strain relief on the mains cable
(5). See detailed illustration
2. Connect the extension cable.
3. Turn the machine on to "I" using the
on/off switch (10).
4. To switch off, move the on/off switch
(10) back to position "0".
Caution! Risk of injury
due to rotating blades!
The blades continue to run
after switching off.
Emptying the collection
bag
Pull out the mains plug..
1. Turn the machine on to position "0"
using the on/off switch (10).
2. Remove the collection bag (3) and
empty.
3. Suspend the collection bag (3) again
from the collection bag fixing points (6).
Overload protection
If overloaded, e.g.. branches which are
too thick, the machine switches off automa-
tically.
To restart, allow the machine to cool and
switch back on.
Restart lock
If the power supply is lost, the machine
does not switch itself back on once the
mains voltage is restored. To switch the
machine back on, turn the on/off switch
.

Be aware that the collection bag
fills unevenly under the discharge
chute!
When shredding, maintain
enough distance from the
machine as long branches
can rebound when fed in.
