• For weight group 1
The headrest can be set at the lowest position, and when the child gets older it can be adjusted so that the
shoulder belt guides (Fig. 1B) are just above the child's shoulders. The headrest should fit well to the child's
head.
• For weight groups 2 and 3
A properly adjusted headrest ensures optimum position of the shoulder section of the car safety belt, and
provides the child with protection and comfort. NOTE The shoulder belt should be positioned between the
shoulder and the neck of the child. The headrest should fit well to the child's head.
4.4 Adjusting shoulder strap height (weight group 1: 9 kg - 18 kg)
Make sure the height of the shoulder straps is suitable for your child. The shoulder straps must run through
the slots located at shoulder height or slightly below (Fig. 4). There are available 2 levels of belt height
adjustment.
If the shoulder strap height is wrong, adjust it according to the following steps.
• Loosen the harness straps by pressing the button (Fig. 1I) and pulling the harness. Remember! Do not pull
the shoulder pads.
• Remove both straps from the harness strap buckle (Fig. 1M) and disconnect the shoulder pad buckle (Fig.
1L). See Figure 5.
• Carefully pull out all straps through the guides in the seat backrest. Then pull the harness and shoulder
pad straps through the slots in the backrest at the desired height (Fig. 6).
• Tuck harness straps into the strap buckle (Fig. 1M) and connect the shoulder pad straps in the buckle (Fig.
1L).
Make sure that the belt is correctly positioned in the slots and is not twisted.
4.5 Securing your child with the harness
• Loosen the harness straps by pressing the button (Fig. 1I) and pulling the harness (Fig. 7). Remember! Do
not pull the shoulder pads.
• Release the buckle and place the harness straps on the sides of the safety seat. Place your child in the seat
(Fig. 8).
• If necessary, adjust the headrest to the child's height.
• Join two buckle latches to engage them and insert them into the buckle (Fig. 1F) until you hear a "click"
(Fig. 9).
• Pull the shoulder straps to eliminate play in the lap strap so that the harness lies flat.
• Pull the harness with the harness adjustment strap (Fig. 1J) until the harness lies flat and close to the child's
body. Pull the adjustment strap straight (not up or down) (Fig. 10).
NOTE The harnesses lap straps must be placed as low as possible on the child's hips. Make sure that the
harness straps are not twisted.

4.6 Removing the harness

• Loosen the harness straps by pressing the button (Fig. 1I) and pulling the harness. Remember! Do not pull
the shoulder pads.
• Remove both straps from the harness strap buckle (Fig. 1M) and disconnect the shoulder pad buckle (Fig.
1L). See Figure 5.
• Carefully pull out all straps through the guides in the seat backrest. Then remove one of the harness straps
from the buckle latch (the slot is quite tight), then from the slots in the seat base (Fig. 19).
• Turn the seat upside down. Turn and pull out the metal harness crotch strap buckle through the slot in the
seat base.
Remember: Store the cushion, harness, buckle and pads in a safe place for future use.
