daily alarm Reset:
When setting your alarm time, be sure to set it correctly in the AM or PM mode. Your clock radio features a Daily Alarm Reset
which prevents the alarm from repeating every day. This ensures that a guest who chooses not to use the alarm feature will
not be woken up by the previous guest's alarm settings.
Power failure indicator:
The clock radio will signal an incorrect time display due to a power supply interruption. When this happens, the entire clock
display will flash on and off warning that the time being displayed is incorrect. Follow the procedure outlined under SETTING
THE TIME to reset your clock.
battery back-up:
In the event of power failure this unit will automatically switch to a battery stand-by circuit when a battery is installed. Under
battery operation, the clock will keep the time and alarm settings running. If set, the alarm will sound. All other functions will
be turned off, ie: radio. The clock display will not light in order to save battery energy. When battery back-up system is not
working properly (probably due to a defective battery), try using a new battery. If you experience a long power failure, you
may need to make a slight adjustment of clock time after AC power returns (the clock uses an internal battery-powered clock
circuit that is less accurate than the power line frequency).
