Page 5: Einsetzen Der Batterien
Erste Inbetriebnahme Einsetzen der Batterien Trennen Sie unbedingt die Netzverbindung vor dem Einsetzen der Batterien. Setzen Sie in das Batteriefach an der Rückseite des Geräts 4 Batterien vom Typ „AA“ ein. Beachten Sie die korrekte Polarität. Achtung: Der DAB+-Modus verbraucht deutlich mehr Energie, als der herkömmliche FM-Modus. Bitte beach- ten Sie dies, wenn Sie das Gerät mit Batterien betreiben möchen (wenige Stunden Laufzeit). - Page 6 Radio-Funktionen DAB+-Modus Nach dem ersten Einschalten des Geräts wird ein automatischer Sendersuchlauf ausgeführt. Sie können aber auch manuell nach Sendern suchen: • Nutzen Sie die Pfeiltasten, um im Sendeband die Frequenzen zu durchsuchen. Sobald Sie eine ge- wünschte Frequenz bzw. ein gewünschtes Ensemble erreichen, drücken Sie SELECT, um die entspre- chende Station zu hören.

Alarm Das Gerät hat zwei unabhängig voneinander einstellbare Alarm-Zeiten. Der Wecker per DAB+- oder FM- Radio wecken oder aber als „Buzzer“ mit einem Piepton. Um den Alarm einzustellen • Drücken Sie die Taste ALARM und nutzen Sie die Pfeiltasten um den Alarmstatus (ALARM 1 / ALARM2 ON/OFF) zu ändern. -

RESET Halten Sie MENU/INFO gedrückt, bis „SYSTEM RESET“ auf dem Display angezeigt wird. Bestätigen Sie (zweimal) mit SELECT. Alle Einstellungen und Daten werden gelöscht. Beim erneuten Einschalten des Ge- räts wird ein neuer DAB+-Sendersuchlauf automatisch ausgeführt. System-Einstellungen Eine Reihe verschiedener Einstellungen (DRC, Prune, Display-Beleuchtung) sowie die Firmware-Version lassen sich durch Gedrückthalten der MENU-Taste aufrufen. -

Initial Use Battery Installation To use the appliance with batteries ensure that the power cord is NOT connected to the mains and install the batteries into the battery compartment. Insert 4 x AA 1.5V alkaline batteries (not included) in accordance with the diagram in the battery compartment. -

Radio Operation DAB+ Mode DAB+ differs from analogue radio; the separate signals from a number of stations are grouped together and transmitted as a single frequency. These groups are referred to as multiplexes and ensembles. Each time a group has been found the name of the group will be shown on the lower half of the display. When the device is powered up for the first time, an automatic scan will be performed. - Page 15 Alarms This radio has a dual alarm function and it is possible to set two individual alarm times. This alarm and may be set to wake as a buzzer tone or to a favourite radio (DAB+/FM) station. The alarm can be set in standby or during operation.

Other Functions Headphone Jack A stereo headphone jack has been provided so that the unit can be used without disturbing others. Plug in the headphones at the rear of the radio and adjust the listening volume to your chosen level. Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss. -

Première utilisation Installation des piles Débrancher l’appareil avant d’installer les piles. Introduire 4 piles de type « AA » dans le compartiment des piles situé sous l’appareil. Bien respecter les polarités. Attention : le mode DAB consomme plus d’énergie que le mode FM classique. En tenir compte dans le cas d’une utilisation de l’appareil avec piles (quelques heures de fonctionnement). -

Réveil et mise en veille programmée Réveil L’appareil possède deux réveils distincts, paramétrables séparément. Le réveil peut être configuré pour se déclencher par une sonnerie ou par une station de radio (DAB/FM) souhaitée. Pour régler le réveil • Appuyer sur la touche ALARM et utiliser les touches directionnelles pour modifier le statut du réveil (ALARM 1 / ALARM 2, ON/OFF). - Page 24 Réinitialisation Maintenir le bouton MENU/INFO enfoncé jusqu’à ce que le message « SYSTEM RESET » apparaisse sur l’affichage. Confirmer (deux fois) avec SELECT. Tous les paramétrages et toutes les données seront supprimés. Au redémarrage de l’appareil, celui-ci procèdera automatiquement à une recherche de sta- tions DAB+.
