Congratulations on your purchase of the Taylor Panel Mount
Thermometer. Your Thermometer is an example of superior design and
craftsmanship. Please read this instruction manual carefully before
use. Keep these instructions handy for future reference.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
I. Operating range -40 to 300°F; or-40 to 150° C.
2. Resolution 0.1°F or 0.1°C throughout range with 4 digits LCD display.
3. Accuracy +/- 1.8°F (1°C) between 14°F and 212°F; +/- 3.6°F (2°C)
above or below range.
4. Sampling rate 10 seconds.
5. Case temperature operating range 23 to 122°F (-5 to 50°C).
6. Battery type AAA 1.5 volt.
7. F or C selector switch on back of front assembly.
8. Water resistant case and back bracket.
NOTE: Please recycle or dispose of batteries per local regulations.
WARNING: Batteries may pose a choking hazard. As with all small
items, do not let children handle batteries. If swallowed, seek medical
attention immediately.
PRECAUTION: Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode
or leak. Remove the battery if the unit will not be used for a long
period of time.
MOUNTING OPTIONS
A. Back bracket can be reversed to put mounting holes above or below
the main unit and LCD display. When mounted with back bracket the
thermometer unit is water or moisture resistant with a plastic lens
over the LCD, an o-ring gasket around the bracket seal and sensor
and a gasket around the sensor cord where it exits the housing.
B. Front assembly can be mounted as a panel meter without the back
bracket by cutting a hole in the customers "A" Panel or equipment.
Nominal size of rectangular mounting panel is 2 3/4" by 1 1/2". The
holes are 3 1/18" from center to center.
Additional functions can be obtained by connecting customer
supplied circuitry to the out¬puts of the microprocessor in the circuit
board. These functions include selectable temper¬ature alarms and
