thermometer will measure surface temperatures of foods

determine if the item has reached the ideal temperature for

The infrared (" ") icon will flash, and then the “HOLD” icon will appear, indicating that the surface temperature reading is on the screen.

Press “Read” button. 2. To activate Min Mode, press the “Mode” button once. The “MIN” icon will flash. Press “Read” again to confirm and select Minimum mode.

To access the battery compartment, loosen and remove the screw attaching the pocket clip to the thermometer. Gently pull the clip off the thermometer, exposing the battery cover.

Emissivity refers to the relative power of a particular surface to emit heat by radiation. The default emissivity setting of 0.95 is appropriate for general household use.
