• Make sure that the rotating adapter of the
device only comes in contact with the nail.
Do not touch it with your fi ngers!
• Check the treated area from time to time to
prevent penetrating too deep into the nail
and thus infl icting injury.
• If you have a pacemaker or belong to any
other risk group, it is absolutely necessary
that you consult your physician before using
the device.
Fire hazard
• Do not use the device if easily fl ammable
gases are present in the air.
Proper handling of batteries
• Before inserting the batteries, check whether
the contacts in the battery compartment and
on the batteries are clean and, if necessary,
clean them.
• Only use the battery type specifi ed in the
technical data (see section "Technical data").
• When replacing the batteries, make sure that
the polarity (+/–) is correct.
• Remove the batteries from the battery compart-
ment if they are empty or if you are not using
