Safety System ISK 76-21

Electrical initial operation

Requirements

The supply voltage of the ISK 76-21 must fulfil the requirements for the functional safe voltages
with safe separation.
Cables outside the cabinet must be isolated appropriate.
The specified grade of protection (IP-classification) for the safety controller is only guaranteed
if the cables are clamped correctly

Supply Voltage

On the ISK 76-21, connect a 24V AC/DC power supply
voltage to the terminals 24V AC/DC.
Connection stationary contact edges
Connect the stationary safety contact edge(s) (SKL)
onto the guide post for the opening movement to
terminals Stationary Opening+GND. When several
safety contact edges are used, they should be
connected in series and the final edge is terminated
with an 8.2 kΩ endresistor.
Connect the stationary SKL(s) for the closing
movement correspondingly to terminals Stationary
Closing+GND.
If one or both of the channels for the stationary
contact edge is not used, the channel(s) in question
must be terminated with one of the supplied 8.2 kΩ
Resistors.
Connection control circuits
Connect the control circuit for the closing movement to
be monitored (stop closing) to terminals STOP Closing
and connect the corresponding control circuit for the
opening movement (stop opening) to be monitored to
terminals STOP Opening.
