To ensure that items are properly packaged
and delivered when you send them to us,
please contact our customer service or the
point of sale at which the equipment was
purchased.
When shipping or disposing of batteries and
cordless tools, always ensure that they are
packed individually in plastic bags to prevent
short circuits and fi res.
To ensure that the battery pack provides long ser-
vice, you should take care to recharge it promptly.
You must recharge the battery pack when you
notice that the performance of the device drops.
Never allow the battery pack to become fully di-
scharged. This will cause it to develop a defect.
5.4 Battery capacity indicator (Fig. 9)
Press the button for the battery capacity indicator
(d). The battery capacity indicator (e) shows the
charge status of the battery using 3 LEDs.
All 3 LEDs are lit:
The battery is fully charged.
2 or 1 LED(s) are lit:
The battery has an adequate remaining charge.
1 LED fl ashes:
The battery is empty, recharge the battery.
All LEDs blink:
The battery temperature is too high. Remove the
battery from the equipment, keep it at room tem-
perature for one day. If the fault reoccurs, this me-
ans that the rechargeable battery has undergone
exhaustive discharge and is defective. Remove
the battery from the equipment. Never use or
charge a defective battery.
6. Operation
6.1 Operation (Fig. 6)
Before starting your work, always check the level
indicator (5) to see if the magazine contains stap-
les/nails and ensure that the magazine cover (3)
is closed properly.
Important!
To determine the desired and optimum penet-
ration depth for the staples and nails, use a test
workpiece which is similar in structure and materi-
al thickness to the workpieces to be joined.

6.2 Triggering shots (Fig. 1)
The built-in trigger locks prevent the cordless
nailer from being triggered accidentally. Triggering
is therefore only possible by pressing the stapler
head (6) of the cordless nailer against the materi-
al and operating the trigger (1).
To staple/nail, place the stapler head (6) of the
cordless stapler/nailer against the workpiece. Pull
back the trigger (1) once and release it again after
each shot.
If the nail or staple goes in too deep or not deep
enough, the penetration depth can be adjusted by
the depth setting (Fig. 1/Item 9) (see section 6.4)
6.3 Jammed staples/nails (Fig. 11-12)
If a staple/nail becomes jammed in the equip-
ment, proceed as follows:
•
Remove the battery from the equipment.
•
Open the magazine cover (3)
•
Undo the two screws for the cover plates
(7+8) as shown in Fig. 11.
•
Push the cover plates (7+8) forward as far as
they will go. Then you can lift the two cover
plates up and out.
•
Remove the jammed staple/nail
•
Fit the cover plates back in place again.
Check that they are fitted back in place in the
right direction and sequence.
•
Tighten the cover plate (7) again.
6.4 Depth setting (Fig. 10)
The equipment has a depth setting adjuster (Fig.
10/Item 9) in the form of a rotary knob. If you
screw it in the (+) direction, the staples/nails will
be shot in deeper. If you want to reduce the depth
that the staples/nails are shot in, you have to
screw the rotary knob in the "-" direction.
Important!
Use test workpieces.
7. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
