It is extremely important that you assemble your Sonar Foil and foilboard properly. Assembling the
product correctly will ensure the product performs well, is safe for users and will avoid unnecessary
damage.
WARNING:
Do not use power tools for installation as it may cause damage (as control of torque and power is
limited). Doing so will render your warranty void.
WARNING:
Over tightening screws can cause irreversible damage to your Foil. Doing so will render your warranty
void.
WARNING:
As your foil will be exposed to a harsh marine environment, there is the risk of corrosion even with the
high-quality materials used.
WARNING:
Due to excessive loads and stresses, the AK70 and AK85 masts should only be used with the Sonar 850
and 1150 front wings. The use of larger wings will render your warranty void.
IMPORTANT: All Sonar Front Wings, Stabilizers and Fuselages are modular and interchangeable. AK
Kite Masts are compatible with the AK Board Adaptor only. AF Foil Masts are compatible with the AF
Board Adaptor only. Please refer to specific product pages for further information at northkb.com.
