4.1 STARTING YOUR GENERATOR
WARNING!
Before using the generator, a ground wire may need to be
connected to the ground terminal. The terminal is located on the
front panel. Before using the ground terminal consult a qualified
electrician.
NOTE
Shipping restrictions for li-ion batteries require the batteries to be
shipped at a low state of charge. It is recommended to manually recoil
start the generator when starting the first time.
If there is no battery in the generator or the battery has died, the
generator can only be started using the recoil method. If there is a
battery and it is drained, running the generator will slowly recharge the
battery.
4.1.1 Remote Start

Push the battery power switch to ON.

Rotate the fuel knob to OPEN.
3.
Check the Remote Start Ready light is on.

Press the START button for no more than 2 seconds to fire up the
generator. If it does not start after 5 attempts consult the troubleshooting

chapter.
