INTENDED USE
The product is intended to weigh objects up to a weight of 200g. The weighing platform is protected by the platform cover.
The platform cover can be used as a tray, when placing upside-down, for weighing loose objects. The scale includes the initial
zero-setting mechanism, so that the Tare function will be run for every start-up. Only operate it in a dry indoor environment. The
product is intended for private use only and not for medical or commercial purposes.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product for purposes
other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short
circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties
only together with its operating instructions.

not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we assume no
liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/
guarantee.

Persons / Product
•
The scale is a precise measuring instrument. Operation in environments with strong electromagnetic radiation
might involve deviations of the indicated values.
•
Shocks and overload of the scale must be avoided. These might damage the scale.
•
Loads (weighing object) should not be left resting permanently on the scale. This might damage the measuring
mechanism.
•
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
•
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material for
children.
•
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture, flammable
gases, vapours and solvents.
•
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
•
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any accidental
use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:

is visibly damaged,
-
is no longer working properly,
-
has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
-
has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
•
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.
•
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the product.

Batteries / Rechargeable batteries
•
Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the batteries.
•
Batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to avoid damage through
leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with skin, therefore use suitable
protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.
•
Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave the battery lying around, as there is risk, that
children or pets swallow it.
•
All the batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries in the device can lead to
battery leakage and device damage.
•
Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never recharge non-rechargeable
batteries. There is a risk of explosion.

Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
•
Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified shop.

BATTERy REPLACEmENT
Replace the batteries when the low battery icon,
1.
Close the cover of the weighing scale.
2.
Slide open the battery compartment, which is located at the bottom of the weighing scale.
3.
Insert two CR2032 button cells while observing the polarity. The positive poles of the button cells should face outward.
4.
Close the battery compartment.
OPERATION
1.
Place the weighing scale on a stable and horizontal surface.
2.
Open the weighing scale cover.
3.
Turn the weighing scale on by pressing the "ON/OFF" button. All segments of the display will be shown for approximately
1 second and then reset to 0.
If the display does not show 0, press the "TARE" button.
4.
Press the "MODE" button to set the weighing unit. Weighing units including, gram (g), ounce (oz), pennyweight (dwt) and
Troy ounce (ozt) are available. A "-" icon on the right hand side of the display will indicate which unit is being selected.
5.
Place the object to be weighed on the weighing platform gently. The weight of the object will be shown on the display.
6.
Turn the scale off by pressing the "ON/OFF" button. Otherwise, it will automatically turn off after approximately 2 minutes
of inactivity. Close the weighing scale cover.

Tare function
The TARE function is intended for net measuring using a weighing container. The TARE function offsets the weight of the used
weighing container so that the display shows only the net weight of the measuring object.

1.
Switch on the scale and place the empty weighing container (bucket, basket, etc.) on the weighing platform and wait until
the display is stabilized.
2.
Press the "TARE" button and the display shows "0.0" despite of the weighing container resting on the scale.
3.
Put the object to be measured into the weighing container. The display indicates the net weight of the object.
4.
If you would like to measure without weighing container, remove it from the weighing platform and press the "TARE" button.
Any tarred value will be displayed as a negative number once all weight is removed from the scale.
Please note that the weighing capacity of the weigh scale include the weighing container. Therefore, it is recommended
to use a weighing container which is as light as possible.
a)
Calibration
The scale was calibrated in the factory before sale. If the scale does not measure accurately, please try to replace the battery
first.
In order to perform the calibration, a 100g weight (not included) is needed.
1.
Press and hold the "MODE" button and the "ON/OFF" button simultaneously when the scale is switched off. A large value
will be shown on the display.
2.
Wait until the value stabilises and then press the "ON/OFF" button to proceed. "
Afterward, the value for the standard weight will appear.
3.
Gentle place a standard weight on the weighing platform and the press the "ON/OFF" button again. The display will show "
" and then "
" to signify that the calibration is finished.
4.
Remove the standard weight from the scale and then turn off the scale.
ERROR INDICATIONS
Indication
Cause and solution
The weighing object exceeds the weighing range.
Remove the weighing object from the scale immediately.
The battery voltage is so low that the scale cannot function properly.
Replace the button cells immediately.
The scale is on an unstable surface.
Turn off the scale and then place it on a level and stable surface.
Turn on the scale again
DISPOSAL
a)
Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b)
(Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batteries. Disposing of
them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the domestic
waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead
(name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever
(rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
