Styling
Straightening and Steaming
While the appliance heats up, you can comb or brush your hair
so it is not tangled but smooth.
Starting close to the roots, place a section of hair between the
straightening plates. It is easier if you hold your hair section at an
angle away from your head. For straightening, slowly glide the
appliance from the roots towards the ends of your hair.
Straightening is more effective if you use steam. The Braun
Cordless Straightener supplies «Steam on Demand»: Steam is
released if you pull down on the ribbed section of the steam
dispenser (G), or alternatively if you press the tip of the steam
dispenser (A). Steam is dispensed from the openings of the
barrel.
You can either apply a short shot of steam to a single section of
hair, or keep steaming while moving the appliance down the
whole hair section from the roots towards the ends.
A full water tank usually provides enough steam for a complete
styling session.
Creating flick-ins or flick-outs
(see separate picture panel)
The rounded shape of the straightening plates allows to create
perfect flicks. Straighten the hair section, starting at the roots,
and when reaching the hair ends, turn the appliance outside for
flick outs – inside for flick-ins
After use
Switching off
To switch off, shift the energy supply switch (C2) back to
position 0 = off.
