HOW TO USE
Connect the charger to a stable and grounded power
source, either 100-240VAC mains power outlet or a 12VDC
power supply. An unstable power source may cause the
charger to malfunction and create hazardous conditions.
The charger has an integrated 120 minutes safety timer.
If you are charging a very high capacity battery, you may
need to restart the charge for the battery to become fully
charged.
WARNING! With LiPo batteries, the balancing plug must
always be connected to the charger, do not attempt to
charge LiPo batteries which are not equipped with a com-
patible balance plug. Attempting to charge a LiPo battery
in Nixx mode will probably cause the battery to fail and
could result in a fire, possibly causing damage to property
and personal injury.
Before starting the charge, you must setup the charge
current!

CHARGE CURRENT
The charge current is adjusted by using the + and – keys
before starting the charge.
The charge current LED will light in relation to the set-
ting. During the charge, the LED will show the actual
charge current. Depending on the battery type the
effective maximal charge current might be lower than
4A so not all the LED will be lit.
The standard charge current is 1C (one time the battery
capacity).
WARNING! The minimum charge current of this charger is
1A; this might be too high for certain batteries and cause
them to overheat and create hazardous conditions. Make
sure that you properly identify the battery type/speci-
fications and always follow the manufacturer's charge
recommendations.
CHARGING NIMH/NICD BATTERIES
