Possible Cause(s)
1. Paint too thick
2. Spray tip plugged
3. Atomizer valve missing
4. Atomizer valve worn out
or plugged
5. Control knob needs to be
adjusted
6. Suction filter clogged
7. Input hole of cylinder is
blocked
1. No power at wall plug
2. Defective motor
1. Operating sprayer with
an upward tilt
2. Piston or cylinder wall is
scored
1. Nozzle loose
2. Operating at an angle
greater than 40 degrees
Corrective Action
1. Thin paint with solvent
and/or water
2. Clean spray tip thor-
oughly
3. Install atomizer valve
4. Clean or replace atomiz-
er valve
5. Adjust control knob
until desired spray is
achieved
6. Clean or replace filter
7. Clean input hole
1. Use another plug. If
problem is at breaker,
call electrician.
