Troubleshooting
Possible Cause
DC plug of the AC adapter is not
plugged into the DC JACK properly.
The AC outlet may not have power .
MASTER VOLUME of this unit is set
to minimum .
Volume control on TV set/PA system
is set to minimum .
TV set/PA system power is OFF .
Disc is inserted upside down .
Disc is dirty .
Disc is scratched .
Disc is warped .
A non-standard disc is inserted .
Lens is dirty .
Moisture has condensed inside the
CD deck .
Karaoke system needs to be reset .
Source Selection on your TV/home
stereo is not set properly .
Improper connection to stereo
system or PA .
Solution
Re-insert the DC plug of the AC
adapter properly .
Check the outlet with a working
lamp or other electrical appliance .
Turn up the MASTER VOLUME .
Turn up the volume of the TV/PA
system .
Turn ON the power of TV/PA system .
Insert disc correctly .
Wipe it clean with soft cloth .
Use a new disc .
Use a new disc .
Only use compatible discs
mentioned in this manual .
Clean the optical pickup with a CD
lens cleaner .
Wait about 20 to 30 minutes to let
it dry out .
Disconnect the machine from power
source for 30 seconds .
Select AV INPUT as the source for
