4. MAINTENANCE
The heater does not need any special maintenance, except an annual inspection of the magnesium
anode. In order to clean it rub with a soft cloth or damp sponge. Do not use abrasives or detergent.
The electric water heater guarantee is 7 YEARS for the water tank and 2 YEARS for the electronics from
the date of purchase. If the water heater breaks down during this guarantee period the entire appliance
will be replaced. In the Canary Islands, the water tank is guaranteed for 3 YEARS.
In order to guarantee the life of the water heater, it is a requirement that the user agrees to an annual
inspection of the magnesium anode to check for erosion. Where erosion is excessive, it should be
replaced.
Our guarantee will be applied with the express condition that the electrical heater has been well installed
by QUALIFIED FITTERS and with the PROTECTIVE SOCKETS which are provided with the appliance and
that there has been an initial inspection of the anode.
Excessive heating by a possible failure of the thermostat, is protected by the safety limiter, that cuts the
two phases and leaves the heater without electrical supply. Should this occur, call the Client Assistance
Service to arrange repair.
