plugging the. The insect-killer is operating. The insect-killer can be
kept switched on (24 hours a day) all year round.
Replacing lamps
To replace a TL-tube that is no longer operating, pull the plug out of
the power socket and remove the collector tray. Unscrew the nut
and the two screws securing the mounting eyes fixed on the cap
(both sides). Now you can take off the top cover with neon tubes
from the device.
Unscrew the nut of the lamp holder and push it aside. Now you can
replace the bulb. Bring all parts into their original position before
using the insect-killer again.
Cleaning
Empty the collector tray regularly by pulling it out of the insect-killer
on the side with the electric cable.
Too much dust will adversely affect the effectiveness of the light and
too much dirt will affect the way insects are destroyed. So clean the
device regularly. To do that, switch it off, pull the plug out of the
power socket and remove the collect tray. When you now place the
device on a work surface, you can remove dust and dirt, for example
with a vacuum cleaner, duster or soft brush. Do not use any
moisture or corrosive cleaning agents in the insect-killer.
You can dust off the outer side of the device using a soft cloth.
