2 Fitting and removing components
Warning
Incorrect handling may result in damage to the compo-
nents.
S Do not therefore touch any contacts.
S Please observe the regulations for handling electros-
tatically sensitive components.
S Discharge yourself electrostatically before fitting or
removing components, in order to protect the compo-
nents against discharges of static electricity.
The field bus module can be fitted in any of the locations 2
to 6. If the field bus module is fitted next to the diagnosis
module, a control panel cannot be fitted because of the
connected field bus cable. Only one field bus module may
be fitted. All the I/Os of the fitted I/O modules can be pro-
grammed as desired.
Removing the modules
1. Switch off the compressed air supply and operating
voltage.
2. Disconnect and remove the connecting cable on the
front of the module.
3. Unlock both locking levers by pushing them (see fol-
lowing diagram).
