DESCRIPTION
· Suitable for use on plastic and metal water pipes.( including inlet
pipe, drain pipe, sewer , palm tree frost protection etc). Protect pipes up to
2.5" in diameter. For a better freeze protection, at least 1/2 inch thick
insulation material is recommended. If the ambient temperature is lower
than -20°F(-29°C),please use "1" thick insulation material.
· For roof deicing: It can be used on inclined roofs, flat roofs, metal roofs,
asphalt roofs, rubber roofs and more.
· Based on the ambient temperature, the conductive polymer heating core
automatically adjusts heat output at each point along the self regulating
heating cable. HEATIT self-regulating designed heating cables get rid of
the risk of overheating or burnouts from overlapping. More Safe
· Industrial grade self regulating heating cable. Can be used by straight,
spiral, wrap and overlap. More functional.
· Pre-assembled, easy to install. Including grounded plug with light, and
instructions. Easy to install and use. 120 volt, 5 watts/ft at 50 degrees F.
Energy-efficient.
· ETL approved. 3 ft 18/3 cold lead with plug. Industrial grade heat
shrinkage tube for connection.Tough XLPE as inner insulation and
thermoplastic as out jacket. Ingress Protection 65. Approved for plastic
pipe and metal pipe. Durable
Cable features
R ated 7.3W/ft at 14°F(-10°C) and 6W/ft at 32°F(0°C)for pipe freeze
protection.
Rated 10W/ft at 32°F (0°C) for roof & gutterde-icing in ice & snow.
Available for use on metal and plastic pipes.
Available for metallic and nonmetallic gutters and downspouts.
Cable can be overlapped.
20 gauge heating cable bus wire.
120V heating cable:
36 inch power lead with grounded plug.

WARNING:
FIRE AND SHOCK HAZARD. This product is an electrical device that must be installed correctly to ensure proper operation and to prevent shock or fire. Read these important warnings
and carefully follow all the installation instructions.
• To minimize the danger of fire from sustained electrical arcing if the heating cable is damaged or improperly installed, and to comply with the requirements of HEATIT Building
Solutions agency certifications, and national electrical codes, ground-fault equipment protection must be used on each heating cable branch circuit. Arcing may not be stopped by
conventional circuit protection.
• For pipe freeze protection applications, use only fire-resistant insulation materials such as preformed foam or fiberglass.
• Do not damage the heating cable and power cord or plug. Remove any damaged cables from service immediately.
• Do not use any wire or metal clamps to attach the cable to the pipe. Use plastic cable ties or high temperature heavy duty electrical tapes (1/2 inch wide to 1 inch wide), for example
HEATIT high-temperature glass cloth tape JSR0301/JSR0302.
• Do not install the heating cable underneath any roof covering for roof and gutter de-icing.
• Leave these installation instructions with the user for future.
