Thrown materials may seriously injure the operator or bystander. To reduce the risk of
personal injury, it is essential to take the following precautions:

Always hold the rubber broom with both hands when operating. Use a firm grip on
both handles.
◾
Move the rubber broom to the work area before starting and start the rubber
brush at a lower speed.
◾
To reduce the risk of injury from loss of control, hold and guide the rubber broom
at a shallow angle. If the rubber broom is held at too steep an angle, it tends to
push back towards the operator.
Before each use check for damaged/worn parts
Check the rubber broom, guard, front-assist handle and drive axle and replace any
parts that are cracked, warped, bent, or damaged in any way.
Clean the rubber broom after each use
