Remove all packaging and any labels.

Use 2 x AAA batteries (supplied in pack).
l
To install the batteries, open and remove the battery

compartment cover. Fit the batteries and replace and close the
battery compartment cover.
Ensure the batteries are fitted in the correct +/- orientation.
l
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
l
Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to
l
be mixed.
Exhausted and leaking batteries are to be removed from the
l
appliance and safely disposed of in accordance with the local
authority's disposal policy.
If the scale is to be stored unused for a long period of time, the
l
batteries should be removed.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
l
Children from 8 years and above can use, clean and perform
l
user maintenance on this appliance in accordance with the
User Instructions provided they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety and have been given instruction
concerning the use of the appliance and are aware of the
hazards.
Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
l
or lack of knowledge using this appliance must have been given
supervision or instruction on its safe use and are aware of the
hazards.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
l
the appliance and it is out of reach of children less than 8 years.
