7.6 Residual Hardness Setting
1. 1.Simultaneously press the
5 seconds.
CAUTION!
If
is displayed, press no further
buttons (test mode manufacturer)!
Wait for approx. 10 seconds until the current
time is redisplayed!
2. Enter the calculated set value via the
buttons.
3. Press the
button three times to save the setting.
Drinking water should have a residual hardness
i
of 1.4 mmol/l (equals 8 °dH)!
The sodium content of the softened drinking water
should not exceed the limit value of 200 mg/l!
Observe the reading examples!
7.7 Manual Regeneration
1. Press the
button for 5 seconds.
Manual regeneration starts immediately.
Flushing takes place via the sewerage tube
i
during regeneration!
The total time required for all 4 regeneration
phases is:
• approx. 23.4 min/PW50-AS
• approx. 33.7 min/PW50-BS
• approx. 44.1 min/PW50-CS

7.8 Blending Setting (Fig. 6)
After manual regeneration has been terminated, the
and
buttons for
desired residual hardness (mixing ratio between raw
water and soft water) has to be set at the blending.
1. Open sampling point.
2. Setting blending.

CAUTION!
Do not overturn adjuster knob!
Connect measuring device after the water softener.
Turn adjuster knob until the measuring device
shows the desired hardness (normally: 8,5°dH).
In position "closed" no untreated water added to

the soft water!
In position "max" untreated water added in
accordance with the nominal flow to the soft
