Important - RIBELLE SpeedFun Mode D'emploi

Ribelle is equipped with a compensation function for bypassing the Bosch antituning system.
- At each stop of the ebike an important compensation operation is performed during which the display indicates a
countdown that repeats 3,2,1 - 3,2,1 - 3,2,1 etc ...
- The duration of this operation is variable and can take a long time, depending on the distance traveled on the previous
trip.
- At the end of the compensation the display will show Zero speed again.
- If the trip is resumed during compensation, the count is put on standby to resume at the next stop.
- If the ebike is turned off during compensation, it is resumed at the next restart, but the system is allowed to detect the
tuning.
It is strongly recommended not to turn off the ebike during the compensation operation
operate and when the compensation is finished (display back to zero) the normal time will start after which the ebike will
turn off by itself.
SOFTWARE UPDATES OF THE EBIKE
Any software update of the ebike can modify its communication or operating systems and can cause Ribelle malfunctions. Such
malfunctions are not recognized by the warranty.
For reasons of necessity, you can ask Speedfun if it is aware of updates that are harmful to Ribelle's operation.
In any case, the Rebel device must be removed before the update and its operation is not guaranteed.
WATER RESISTENCE:
The device is NOT waterproof and must be protected from water.
We recommend to place the device with the wire exit downwards so that any water leaking is not conveyed towards the inside of
the black rubber! If this is not possible or in case of doubt, we recommend using an additional protection; for example you can
insert the device inside a "hood" obtained by cutting a one-way glove's finger with the opening downwards to let the water out
quickly.
No warranty is re-established for damage caused by water.

IMPORTANT

Once the SpeedFun speed unlocking device has been installed, the electric bicycle, exceeding the 25 kmH limit, is compared to a
moped and as such, if it circulates in public places, needs the approval / registration, is subject to payment of the road tax and
insurance coverage, must have the plate, can not circulate on the bike paths and the driver has the obligation of driving with
license and must use the helmet. Furthermore, the driving of a motorized bicycle equivalent to a moped that does not comply with
the aforementioned provisions involves the administrative seizure of the vehicle and pecuniary penalties that vary depending on
the offense committed.
The SpeedFun release system manufacturer declines any responsibility for any damage caused to the pedal assisted bicycles on
which the device is mounted as well as to direct or indirect damage to people or property.
Please note that the modification to the bicycle invalidates the manufacturer's warranty.
