1. General
You must be qualified or otherwise competent
to use this product. If you are not qualified, it
may only be used under the direct supervision
of someone who is.
The purchaser/owner must inform the user of
the contents of this user manual.
Always protect this product from extreme tem-
peratures (> 60°C/140°F), mechanical stress,
chemicals and/or corrosion as described in
chapter 6.
2. Standard
The Twist anchor (16680-YYMM-XXXA)
complies with various standards. The prod-
uct should always be used as a stand-alone
anchor point or as an attachment point for a

This user manual is limited to instructions for
the correct and safe use of the Twist anchor
and discusses the standards requirements only
briefly. Standards which the products com-
bined with the Twist anchor must comply with,
are available on the websites of CEN
(www.cen.eu), OSHA (www.osha.gov) and
ANSI (www.ansi.org).
3. Before use
Inspect the Twist anchor, its safety eye and the
location of installation (the pocket) before every
use. Check for defects, such as:

cracks, fissures, or warping
•
proper engagement of the locking system
•
improper operation or defective parts;
