Functions of the crown
Normal position
In the normal position (Position 0), you can also wind the automatic move-
ment by hand. The movement will start after only a few revolutions of
the crown. However, it is better to wind the movement fully, as maximum
accuracy and a power reserve of about 7 days (168 hours) will then be
assured, even after taking off the watch.
Power reserve display
The power reserve display is subdivided into 7 days, and the display is con-
tinuous. When wearing the watch, it is wound continuously by the winding
mechanism, a process which you can monitor on the power reserve display.
The marking in the area of the last day indicates that the power reserve is
about to run down. You should now wind the watch slowly, if necessary by
hand, as the accuracy can decrease in this area.
