Key to symbols on the
energizer
Fence earth terminal (green). Connect the
fence earth terminal to the earth system.
Fence output terminal (red). Connect the
fence output terminal to the fence.
Read full instructions before use.
This symbol on the product or its
packaging indicates that this product must
not be disposed of with other waste.
Instead, it is your responsibility to dispose
of your waste equipment by handing it
over to a designated collection point for
the recycling of waste electrical and
electronic equipment. The separate
collection and recycling of your waste
equipment at the time of disposal will help
conserve natural resources and ensure
that it is recycled in a manner that
protects human health and the
environment. For more information about
where you can drop off your waste
equipment for recycling, please contact
your local city recycling office or the dealer
from whom you purchased the product.
Do not connect to mains-operated
equipment including battery chargers.

Before first use

If your energizer has been supplied with a
battery included, you need to connect the

positive terminal on the battery as this is
disconnected before shipping.
To prepare an energizer supplied with a battery
for first use:
1 Undo the battery compartment. See
Removing and inserting the battery
page 4.
2 Connect the positive (red) lead to the
positive (+) terminal on the battery.
3 Secure the battery compartment. See

page 4.
Caution!
When connecting the battery, be
careful not to short-circuit the supply terminals.
If your energizer has been supplied without a
battery, you need to select a suitable battery,
then install it into the energizer.

battery for first use:

For all energizers models, before first use, you
must charge the battery for three days by
placing the energizer in full sunlight with the
solar panel facing true south in the northern
hemisphere and true north in the southern
hemisphere.
