INDENDED USE
This riveting tool set is made for riveting following aluminum, steel, stainless steel rivets:
Standard rivets in sizes 2.4 mm (3/32") / 3.2mm (1/8") / 4.0 mm (5/32") / 4.8 mm (3/16")
Rivet nuts: M3 x 0.5 / M4 x 0.7 / M5 x 0.8 / M6 x 1
Rivet studs: M4 x 0.7 / M5 x 0.8 / M6 x 1
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Ensure Health & Safety, local authority and general workshop regulations are adhered to when
using this tool.
•
Clean and check the tool on a regular basis.
•
Check moving parts alignment on a regular basis.
•
Replace damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Non-authorised parts may be dangerous and
will invalidate the warranty.
•
Do not use this tool if it is broken or damaged.
•
Always wear eye-protection when using this product.
•
Ensure that you have a firm footing on a non-slip floor (wear non-slip shoes) and that you are
balanced.
•
Work in an area with adequate lighting. Keep work surface free of clutter.
•
Keep children and other unqualified personnel away from work area.
•
Do not allow children to play with the tool or its packaging.
•
Only use this tool for purpose it is intended for.
MAINTENANCE
•
Keep all pivots oiled.
•
Clean jaw case assembly on a regular basis depending on how often tool is used. The riveter will
fail to grip the rivet shaft if the jaw case assembly is not cleaned and maintained properly.
