Directions for use
• Put alarm with back to the mounting position
and turn clockwise. Make sure the 2 screw
heads slip over key hole slots.
• Test your unit by depressing the test button.
Please do not put up the alarm in a very humid
area nor near a bathroom, where relative
humidity may exceed 90%.
Operation & Testing
When the alarm has been installed, the alarm is
operational. The alarm LED flashes approximately
once a minute while the alarm is in operation.
When high temp. (55° C or above) is sensed the
unit sounds a loud pulsating alarm until the
temperature fall down below 55° C.
To test unit by push-&-hold the Test Button for
3-10 sec. A loud pulsating an alarm sounds, that
means the unit is working properly. Also, the LED
is flashing quickly during alarm.
Battery replacement
The heat detector itself has a built in low voltage
detection circuit. If the alarm sounds a „beep"
about once a minute. It indicates the battery is
weak, replace it immediately. The low voltage
signal will last at least 7 days. A fresh battery will
normally last for one year.
Always install 9 Volt 6LR61. Always test after a
