BLACKOUT BUDDY CO OWNER'S MANUAL
1. Unplug the alarm from the wall outlet, remove the
screw from the battery cover and slide open the
cover (see Fig. 3).
2. Replace the battery with make EVE, model 362937.
The battery is available fromwww.etoncorp.com.
3. Connect the battery cable to the power pins visible
inside the battery compartment.
Note: The battery cable is polarity sensitive, so ensure the
correct orientation of the battery cable.
4. Replace the cover and screw.
5. Plug the BBCO into a mains outlet and charge for at
least 10 hours.
When power is applied the BBCO will beep once and
enter the Start-up condition. After Start-up is complete,
the BBCO will commence normal operation and the
green OPERATE LED will be on.

Note: In order to protect your rights, please keep the original purchase
receipt for the proof of purchase of this Eton Blackout Buddy CO alarm
from our authorized dealers. No warranty can be offered without the
original purchase receipt.
Eton warrants its enclosed CO Alarm - but not the
battery - to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship under normal use and service for a
period of seven years from date of purchase. Eton
makes no other express warranty for this CO alarm.
No agent, representative, dealer, or employee of Eton
has the authority to increase or alter the obligations
or limitations of this Warranty. Eton's obligation of this
Warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of
