The safety valve must be inspected at regular intervals to ensure it is functioning reliably.
Annual maintenance by a specialist company is recommended.
We recommend cleaning the storage tank and inspecting the system once a year.
By operating the storage tank sensibly, you can save a great deal of energy.
According to DIN 4753, the magnesium anode must be inspected by authorised specialists initially after two
years and then at appropriate intervals (annually). If the magnesium anode's diameter has reduced to 1/3 of
its original diameter, it must be replaced. (Original Ø 32 mm)
The container and associated filters must be cleaned as necessary.
Each time assembly occurs, the magnesium anode's seal must be replaced.
The electric heater (if used) must be descaled annually or at shorter intervals in areas of hard water. This
process should be combined with a functionality check.
If used, check the time and temperature control units for the hot water circulation.

To decommission the storage tank, all heating and drinking water-related connections must be shut off.
Disconnect the power supply to all affected system components, e.g. pull out plugs.
Completely empty the storage tank and any liquid-carrying pipes and components.
Final decommissioning and disposal may only be conducted by authorised specialists. The materials must be
disposed of in line with the current national and local environmental laws and regulations.
